Enemies
- All elves are half elves. Half elf, and half human.
- There are three different kinds of elves; Wood elf, High Elf, and Dark Elf
- All of their ears are slightly pointy on the end.
- They are mortal.
- Elves do not have magic. They have large influence over certain things depending on their race however.
- They love the sun. Unlike the vampiric species, they thrive in living out in daylight.
- They normally live on the island Anastas. They sometimes wander to other islands when the tides come down, but they deem it safer to live with each other.
- Average height ranges from 5'0 to 7'0
Myths:
- No half elf is immortal. Their human blood makes them mortal, though they do live longer than their human ancestry.
- They are unable to cast spells or talk to wildlife.
Origination
- Like most of the species of humans, elves were formed due to genetic mutation.
- Because of the selective breeds thousands of years ago, purebloods once ruled the majority of their population. They were once immortal and some even carried signs of magic wielding. This is where the vampiric ancestors began to worry.
- Due to the mass destruction of the pureblooded lines, the elves were forced to breed with humans to keep their species alive, in doing so losing most of their old elven traditions.
Weaknesses
- Toxins- Vampires still use this trick. Mermaid scales are toxic to elves, and they still have no antidote. If consumed in some way, the elf will become very sick and eventually die over a period of only a couple days.
Having Children
- Elves can have children with other elves and humans.
- If the elves are from different elf ancestories, it is very possible the pregnancy will either result in a miscarriage or the child only lives half their lifetime. These children are often called 'bad blood.'
- Elven children age slowly. The process of infancy is similar to human infants, but children don't start showing signs of puberty until the age of 17 or 18. During which time, their ears start to lengthen more. Depending on their elven ancestory, other signs of puberty will result. The final stages end at around 27-30 when they are considered adults.
Rituals
- Courting Elves tend to court over a period of a few years before they decide to marry. It isn't uncommon for there to be an arranged marriage for the sake of bloodlines but it is up to the family.
- Festivals Even though they love the sun, the elves appreciate the moon as well. Once a month there is a large festival in honor of the full moon, hoping for it to bring them happiness and prosperity. The town is crowded with elves with food, games, and dances.
The Towns
- The island is seperated into three sections, depending on the race of elf. Humans however can be found in any of the three towns
- Each home is basic and simple. There are kitchens, beds, bathrooms, and small farms for their own livestock for food. Money consists mainly on small silver coins, and they use in the market places glittered all throughout the neighborhoods.
- There is also some entertainment. Each however depends on the race of elf.
Enemies
- The Vampires- Hundreds of years ago, the Elves held a wide range of magical abilities. They were pure-bloods and the Vampires feared they would become the dominant race. They slaughtered them and attempted to massacre the entire race. They do not drink the blood of Elves because it is richer than human blood and often poisonous to the Vampires.
