Weapons
- They come in all shades of color ranging from very pale to dark.
- Their ethnicity depends on the continent they are from.
- The average life span of a man is about 75 years old. Women however is 85 if they have not had an abundance of children.
- They average a height of 5'0" to 6'2".
The Women
- The women are not weak nor are they treated as such. Women are held at a high esteem for their gift of childbearing.
- Non-mother's often will help fight in battles should they choose to.
- The women also tend to help plan wars and are often the masterminds behind them.
- When it comes to their children, they are highly protective but loving mothers.
- Women sometimes use their looks to sway negotiations in their favor.
The Men
- Often respect women.
- They are taught early how to fight and show honor in defending their people.
- Men will sometimes make pacts with their most feared enemies in order to stay alive among them. For instance, they may engage in kidnapping to feed the vampires in exchange for their life.
- Men are much more interested in immortality then women.
- Werewolves- The men hunt the Weres as a sign of masculinity. One on one, a Were can kill a human easily. Therefore, humans tend to hunt in groups and will single one out and then attack. Wearing the skin of a Were is an honor.
Children
- Normal humans may have children with Elves or other Normal humans. There are no other subspecies they are capable of breeding with.
- Normal children reach puberty at about 14-15 years of age on average.
- Children often 'play fight' so that they learn how to defend themselves. They are taught that protecting the community is a sign of honor. This applies to both girls and boys.
- At other times they help farm, take care of livestock, and help in the kitchen.
Housing
- Homes were generally made from stone more so then wood. Stone allowed for better sturdiness and protection against attacks. Wooden houses were present at this time but not common.
- The wealthy tended to have large stone home consisting of many floors and rooms while the poor may be cramped in a small living area.
- Homes consisted of kitchens, pantries, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, etc. Modern appliances were not available at this time (like microwaves.)
Rituals
- Marriage- The normal humans have lavish marriages. The women will often wear an expensive dress, normally consisting of a bright color to accentuate her beauty. The man will then wear
- Festivals- The humans have many festivals to celebrate a number of occassions. They may celebrate the spring, hoping that it will bring a good season of crops. They may also celebrate births, holidays, fairies (that some believe in). It is generally a reason to celebrate anything.
Fears/Enemies
- Vampires- For obvious reasons, the humans fear the Vampires. Because of their lack of presence in the sunlight, they will often keep indoors during the night.
- While they have a curious facsination with the Aycayías, they fear what they are capable of. Aycayía's are known for luring and enticing unsuspecting humans into the water and then drowning them.
Wars
- Wars are common between humans for land, assets, women, etc.
- Some wars start for revenge, lack of common interest, and to those seen as a threat.
- The battles are normally done on large fields with horses, armor, and a full frontal attack. Ambushes and village raids aren't uncommon however.
Allies
- The Elf- Elves have been known to protect their human counterparts since they are the only other human that may have children with one another. The two can be found living together or alone.
- The Vampire- Some humans, though not many, worship the vampires for their ability to live forever. They may create alliances with them to stay alive or so they could be given the 'gift' of a Vampire's bite. These humans often become servants as well as kidnappers (to bring food to the Vampires.)
Transportation
- Humans use horses and other animals for their main means of transportation.
- They may also walk on their feet.
- There are no cars, or airplanes in existence.
- There are boats however.
Weapons
- Humans use a wide variety of handmade weapons. These weapons include, spears, bows & arrows, swords, daggers, and other metallic pieces.
- There are no guns in existence.
- Armor, shields, and other defense items are often used as well.
