((Enter if you dareeee XD))
Darkness crept over the beaches, forests, and mountains of Godiva as the sun made its decent. The moon had begun to shine through while the horizon turned from blue to yellow, orange, purple, and eventually black. The sky was now lit up with thousands of stars. To any observer, it seemed as though someone had thrown a sparkling glitter into the atmosphere. It was gorgeous to anyone who actually took the time out to enjoy the spectacle. The change went unnoticed by the stormy female within the confines of her father's castle.
Flinging the double doors open, Selene, a royal member of the vampire family, stomped through with servants following quickly behind her. They flinched as she quickly pulled her dagger from its holder and threw it across the room; straight into a piece of wood.
"Those beasts! I swear if I see another elf on Godiva I will peel their skin off and feed them to the rats!"
As the angered female broke several clay pots in her fury, her servants attempted to clean the room of its mess while staying out of her path. She wasn't one to reckon with and even worse when upset. Her eyes, now an icy blue glared at everyone. Quickly moving to the wall, she pulled her dagger out and placed it within the small strap on her thigh.
"I will kill them all."
Miss, please calm down...
If looks could kill, the flesh would of melted from the servant's face as she shot a deadly look her way. Storming back out, her close companion and pet panther quickly trotted after her, growling at any passerby. Her heels made a clacking sound against the cold stone; barely noticing the other vampires. The pale female could here the human slaves running after her as she headed out the door.
Selene! Xavien needs to speak to you!
She ignored them.
Every muscle tensed as Selene made her decent down the mountain. She was graceful, similar to a cat, in her movements. Her agility, characteristic of the vampires, was unmatched by opponents. It did not take her too long to reach the stables. Midnight... The stable, made mostly of wood, was well guarded by the vampiric soldiers. Sounds of the neighing horses within could be heard to anyone nearby and often attracted predators. Her aqua colored eyes glanced to the mountains once again and laid upon a neighboring castle. She could honestly careless for anyone outside of her family's clan.
Standing with a hand on her hip, Selene spoke sharply at the soldiers. There was only one reason she had come here yet no one had flinched to make a move.
"My horse."
Quickly, one ran inside and soon emerged with a towering male Arabian. He was pitch black and a favorite when she first laid eyes on him. His long black hair shined in the moonlight and glimmered as he walked forward. Coming closer and feeling a little more calm, she gently rubbed Midnight's nose. The vampire took a deep breath, and let out a chilly puff of air as she jumped on the stallion's back. Lightly kicking his sides, Selene ran off into the forests; leaving footprints in the snow.

"Oh dear. It looks like it's going to snow again today." Red eyes watched the clouds that formed off in the distance, threatening to cover the stars that glittered down. The vampiress was really hoping for a good night too, ever since she managed to escape the confines of the castle and journey out for a bit of fresh air. Even nature however seemed determined to make her go back to her home. It wouldn't happen though, not even it turned out to be a blizzard in the dead of night. Kaya was not going to go back until the sun forced her to. Hiran had already been placed in a foul mood after her sibling, Tico, failed to come back with a certain elf's head. As soon as the woman heard the crashes and crunches of their father throwing the boy around, she knew to get out fast before she became the next victim on his list.
Kaya focused away from the stars as her companion snorted and thumped her hooved in a agitated fashion. She stroked the Clydesdale's white mane fondly, smiling down at the large horse. Huge and intimidating her breed might be, Mercy was given her name for a reason. Kaya had never met a more gentle horse than this one. They were both two peas in a pod, outcasts on this cruel island. It was only fate that let Kaya come to see this beautiful beast, and the vampiress knew she had to buy her, one way or the other. She paid dearly for spending so much money on an animal, but she would take the beating to gain a friend.
Mercy's thick white fur twitched after Kaya finished patting her, and a large bright brown eye looked up at the woman as the horse tilted her head. The vampiress nodded and gripped at the cloak, bringing the furred edge closer to her neck, it being the only thing covering her mostly bare skin. She never let a moment pass where she could wear small articles of clothing, flirting with men as she ventured the streets, simple to irritate her father. It was foolish probably to anger one of the Elders, one of the oldest vampires living on Althalos, but for her, it was the only way she knew on how to fight back.
"C'mon girl, let's go for a ride." Kaya said sweetly, pulling the reigns to the side to get back on the trail. She never kicked her horse. Mercy knew what to do, and she went into a gallop, the both of them enjoying the cool air as they raced by.
Something caught her eyes however, and Kaya jerked on the ropes, the horse halting immediately and snorting in dissaproval. Blood colored eyes stared at the ground, then the direction that the hoof prints left, before pursing her lips. She had a feeling she knew who's horse it was. The only question was, to follow or go in the wrong direction? The vampire that went off straight again after all had a temper that many knew well, and the vampiress wasn't too fond of meeting more of her kind with a angry attitude. But... Kaya shrugged. It could lead to something interesting, and with that she twisted her reigns and Mercy ran off, following the trail, the both wondering what sort of mischief they were bound to run into.

The moon looked like a slender crescent because of the dark descending clouds closing in on its white face. The wind was crisp; it bit at her bare arms and legs with a vicious frost bite. But, she liked the bitter cold. She liked the numbness her porcelain skin reached when a cool layer of frost blanketed her skin. The young vampire would often throw her numb frozen body around in a dance of the damned when it happened. It was getting colder now, the hairs on her once human body rose, white ice crystallizing around the tips of her fingers and up her arms.
Arturis felt the clouds fall and form on the lower level of the sky, fogging up the star-stretched expanse. Her bare pale legs were bent over a large gnarled oak branch, her back swung backwards and she dropped her torso below herself clinging to the branch with her powerful leg muscles. Her outfit was not right for hanging upside down in trees, but Arty didn’t ever care. The cut of her black dress was short, the material a fine silk lined by warm mink fur. The dress cut short, just above her knees in the front, now it was slipping up and revealing her black unmentionables. In the back, the dress came down in a train that frayed out into a jagged silver design. Up on her shoulders was another twisted silver design and cupping the nape of the dress was a deep hood. Her hair fell loosely against the hood, strands of red mixing with a deep brown. She loved the stupendous feeling of blood rushing to her head, what little blood there were. It was like you go out for a bite to eat and tip yourself upside down and voila, instant head rush.
“Invigorating,” she spoke downwards to her stolen horse in the brush.
The horse below her was a dappled grey Iberian descendant. It was a gorgeous horse, name remained to be unknown. No matter, the horse was stolen and should not be named. Arturis knew from the way she disposed of humans that attachment and addiction were temptations she need not delve into. The horse pawed at the ground, its nostrils flaring puffing out clouds in the cold air.
The vampire put her hands back on the branch and swung herself upwards. She kicked out her legs lazily, pumping them out of submission, her high wrapped ballet heels red blurs in the air. It didn’t take long for the black Arabian to storm through the snow covered trail, but that didn’t make Arturis move. She figured with all the commotion that Selene had made that someone must be already be hot on her trail. Soon enough Kaya was following afterwards with her white horse.
Art put her finger to her lips, pulling back on her full bottom lip. She thought to herself, hmm, the black, the white and the… her eyes dropped to the horse below her. Her pupils enlarged, the silver irises vibrantly flickering up into a storm changing into a deadly ice blue.
“Grey,” her sharp canines poked out visibly over her bottom lip. She threw one of her legs upwards, her hands gripped the branch rotating to assist the twist and she spiraled backwards off of the tree branch. She fell with accuracy, landing with her knees slightly bent, but still perfectly straight. She pulled the hood of her dress over her head, pulled on her riding gloves out of the saddlebags then she straddled the grey horse.
She pushed her fingertip-less gloves into the roped mane of the grey horse. This horse didn’t have a bridle because Arturis didn’t want her few goods to be damaged goods. She hugged her knees to the shoulders of the horse. She put her lips to the horse ear and whispered the command to gallop. Arturis had to kill many wood elves to get the commands, but it was well worth the wait.
Arturis wanted to see what the other two females were up too. She had her head rush, she felt empowered, and she felt like she could do anything.
Anything at all.

The chilly wind brushed across Selene's pale face as she rode quickly through the forest. While most would shiver, she reveled in the crispy feeling. The snow continued to kick up beneath Midnight's feet as he sped up with each nudge to his side. He appeared to enjoy a good run as much as she did. The freeing feeling of running through the trees was enough to calm the angered vampiress. Closing her eyes, she listened to the heavy sound of the hooves hitting the hardened dirt. Thud, thud, thud.... It was almost deafening....
But then there was something else... Thud, THUD, thud, THUD.. The gallop of a heavier horse could be heard mixing in with the lighter stomps of Midnight. Kaya...ugh...
"What are you doing here?"
Whispering the question to herself. With a jab on the reigns of her horse, she quickly turned (nearly causing the horse to slip on the snow), to face her stalker. Turquoise eyes stared at the oncoming white horse.
"What the hell do you want? I don't appreciate being followed Kaya..."
Selene's words came out viciously as she stared down at the all too giddy vampire. The pair were complete opposites and quite frankly, the brooding female found her annoying. Midnight stared similarly at Mercy, attempting to mimic her attitude but failing miserably. Snorting loudly, he took a step back.
Sighing, Selene motioned for Kaya to come along. Sometimes, she felt bad for the girl. Hiran kept almost as much constraints on the vampiress as much as Xavien attempted to. She figured she would show Kaya a little something she came across not too long before. Perhaps with her help...they could have a little fun. A sinister smile crept up on her face as she turned back on her horse.
"Come"
Before this dark vampire could wander much further, yet another horse was making its way to the duo. This gallop however was unrecognizable and instantly unnerved the already agitated female. Softly drawing out her dagger, Selene pulled herself up onto her feet and steadied herself onto the black saddle. With adrenaline beginning to pump, she jumped off of the horse and contorted her body in a maneuver well practiced, to flip right over Mercy and in front of the vampire's path. Before getting run over, she pulled herself back and attempted to pull Arturis from her horse. Should she succeed, she'd then push her against the tree while holding the dagger to her throat.
"You mind explaining what you're doing?"

Kaya had figured partially in her mind that the women she was tailing after would have tried to make her own steed move faster, simply to get away from the younger vampiress. They weren't even what some may call acquaintences. Selene probably tolerated her at best, with how she acted with that temper of hers. Kaya's attitude surely annoyed her. So when she saw the pure black horse stopped and waiting for the pair to catch up to them, she could not hide the surprised look on her face, eyes widening at the sight. She let Mercy go into a jog then a walk before they stopped in front of the woman. To the words that were spat out, Kaya only smiled.
"Come now, Selene. Must you always show off a snarl when someone simply wants to see that pretty face of yours?" The words were taunting, yet Kaya didn't care. Selene's game was threaten and scowl, Kaya's was to sneer and spread sarcasm. They would probably make quite a team if they ever sided their differences, yet she knew that would never happen.
Mercy was probably grateful for it. Her eyes were locked on the male in front of her, and her agitation from being so close was keeping her on edge. The mare was stamping a front hoof, moving from side to side as the black arabian stared her down. She was already set to leave and let these two alone, and she played with the reigns in her mouth to try and get Kaya's attention.
The vampiress ignored it and raised an eyebrow when Selene motioned her to follow. This was indeed a surprise. Questions rose in her mind, having no idea what she did to suddenly gain her favor out of blue, but she knew better than to ask questions. She might ruin the chance to really be able to get to talk to someone who was a daughter of an elder, and the company was always grateful. Instead she smiled and let Mercy finally break into a run behind them.
The eagerness as to what was awaiting the two died fast as her ears caught the sudden thudding of yet another horse, and Kaya looked back, having no idea who else was out here with them. What happened next however happened so fast, yet it was as though it was all played in slow motion. Red eyes widened as Kaya saw the form of Selene flying over her mare, now inbetween her and the intruder. Mercy showed her surprise by rising on her back legs, kicking her front ones and letting out a loud whinny. Kaya pulled tightly on her reigns to steady the girl, still watching the other woman and calling out her name in shock as she saw the glint of her dagger.
As soon as Mercy hit the groud again, Kaya reached for her own blade strapped at her heel, ready to fight Selene off should she be able to get hold of the girl. "Are you mad woman?" Kaya cried out to her, tearing the hood away from her head to gain better sight of the sudden frenzy.

((I'm moving on without Cooper))
"Back off."
Selene hissed at Kaya as she held the dagger closer to Arturis's neck. In the back of her mind, she knew that the other vampiress would think twice before interfering unless there was dire need to. At least she knows her place. Deciding that the small female in front of her was not worth her time, she lowered the dagger and threw her onto the snowy dirt. Taking a few steps toward her, she bent down to whisper in her ear.
"You follow me again...the next time you wont get off so easily."
Turning around quickly on her heels, Selene blew past Kaya in a hurry.
"Let's go."
Midnight glanced at Mercy and snorted. The crunching sound of Selene's boots on the frozen leaves of the forest was all that could be heard in the silence that followed the small encounter. Her boots begun to turn white as the snow clung to the leather with each movement forward. A smoky white mist blew from her mouth as she exhaled deeply before leaping onto the back of her black horse.
Tapping Midnight's sides, he begun to take off once more through the forest. She knew Kaya would follow closely behind and did not wait even for a moment for her to catch up. What she had to shower would surely be a sight to see. Something that both...would find great pleasure in overtaking.
Selene became lost in her thoughts as she rode for several miles through the thick trees. Her hair flew back behind her and a soft mist from the damp air clung to her pale skin. She silently wondered why their race was still not the majority in Althalos. How many people did they have to kill...how many did they have to turn before they could be the top breed. She vowed that before a hundred years passes, she will have made a significant dent in their population.
She could hear the sound of movement up ahead and begun to finally slow down. Soon, she stopped and slid quietly off her horse. The vampiress then glanced to Kaya and motioned for her to move quietly. Past the thick bushes was a camp of humans and elves alike. There were enough of them to practically be an army. But that was not all. They had with them 'treasures' that had been hand crafted by the dark elves.
"I don't want to know what they are doing here. But I see opportunity."
Selene whispered.

As though the vampiress didn't hear the threat at all, Kaya slid off the horse's back and stepped towards the two, ready to defend the victim in necessary. As far as she was concerned, the stranger was no threat. She had simply followed them out, maybe to try and find company, and there was no need to become nasty about it. She stood her ground, and sighed when the girl was finally released, but pursed her lips at the threat. There was no reason to act so rash, but of course that was just Selene's way. At least she wasn't the type who always killed first and asked later, like Hiran.
Stepping back as the woman came by, Kaya rose an eyebrow expectedly as she ordered for them to go. She stood in the snow as the other rose onto the black horse and took off, with a snorting Mercy beside her, as though saying 'good riddance,' but after a few short moments when the woman was gone, Kaya ran a hand through her hair with a roll of her eyes, and took to her own horse. Mercy reacted as soon as her rider placed her feet into the stirrups, kicking off after the other two, though the vampire didn't miss the snort of irritation in the process.
Kaya listened for the sound of hooves, but she let Mercy lead. The horse could hear the sound more distinctly and follow it more easily if the rider left her to her own behavior. It left Kaya to her own bit of freedom, enjoying the chilled air that nipped at her skin. She hadn't placed the hood back over her head. There was no reason too. Her line had always been very tolerant of the cold, which accounted for their lower temperature and pale skin. Besides, it was more fun to feel your hair whip against your head and hear the sound of air fly right by.
Kaya hadn't realized she had been smiling to herself until Mercy started to slow. Her bright crimson eyes opened and saw Selene finally, and the smile disappeared as soon as she saw her slide off Midnight and motioned for her to do the same. She slid off the white gentle beast and silently followed right behind her. They were predators. Blending in with their surroundings was second nature to their minds and bodies. Kaya's eyes went sharp as they started towards the bushes, wondering just what on earth Selene was up to.
When her head poked out through the thickets, her eyes widened dramatically and she yanked her head back, staring at Selene in disbelief. "You truly are insane!" She hissed through her teeth, kneeling into the snow to keep low. "What in the world do you plan to do with a goddamn army right by us? You should have reported this!" Kaya caught the glee that was in Selene's voice as she hinted towards the word 'opportunity' and shook her head once. "Whatever it is you're thinking of, it's bad. I just know it."

Selene was not surprised by Kaya's reaction and immediately ignored it. Watching as a few elves left tents to gather some materials caused her darkly colored eyes to start changing to an icey blue. She could practically taste their blood as she imagined the slaughtering of these tresspassers. For several minutes in fact, the vampiress squatted there in a trance. After a soft snort from Midnight, she was brought back to the present. Shaking her head lightly she glanced over to the other vampiress.
"You know as well as I do that they don't belong here. They deserve to be killed in the most horrifying way possible. The fact that they've blatantly tresspassed on vampiric territory is more then reason to massacre the entire lot of them. However, if you see over there...."
She softly pointed her index finger over toward a rather large tent. It appeared to be heavily guarded but by the looks of it, there was a good number of items that were obviously going to be used for trade with humans.
((Not done yet))
