The wind.
It rustled through the grass, bending, curving, always changing paths, nothing stopping it from continuing on.
Sometimes merciless, destroying all in it's wake, sometimes gentle, tickling and laughing in your ear.
But, it was just wind. And wind, being an unmovable force, had a hard time affecting others who did not want to be affected by it.
Or at least to Tibere.
The wind was blowing somewhat harshly, whipping and slicing the were's dark chest. The pain barely fazed him though, he had been through much worse. Crouching down, he clenchd his fist. Much unlike the wind, his fist could change things. Cause immense pain, death, destruction. And he swore to bring this to humans. Tibere's nose wrinkled as he thought the disgusting word.
A shift of the wind, harsher.
Tibere stood up, fists more relaxed. He looked around, eyes hard. Someone was coming. The wind was not in the direction where he could accuratly classify what it was. Raising his lip, he snarled.
"Who's there?"

Wind....harsh, rough, strong, but bearable. At least being alone kept one from being safe in these grassy plains, farther away from the humans, but wouldn't be for long if one kept moving, or they kept moving closer.
Security in the tall, but sometimes sharp, grass was all Resi planned on, but she knew soon she'd have to go into some of the human civilizations...if yet for easy food if she could not find even the smallest meal in these green plains. Her hands stretched out before her, moving grass blades out of the way. Shaking her head, she suddenly dropped onto her belly out of instinct when a voice greeted her sharp ears.
Blindly moving across the tall grass, slithering by using her elbows and toes, she felt the presence of another, whom the voice had belonged too. Slowly standing, she whiped her tattered dress off, letting herself be seen. The child was soon stepping forward, but only a foot closer, in her eyes, she had no idea where, what or who this man was.

There.
In the grass, a movement.
Something dark, low to the ground.
Tibere's eyes stared coldly. Was it a human? He lifted his lips into a rural snarl, his small canines lifting into a cruel smile.
The brown figure stood up to reveal not just a were, but a young one at that. Her dark skin matched his and her eyes gleamed a startling silver.
Blind...
Taking a breath, he spoke in his deep, mennancing voice.
"What do you want, young one? I have no need for another. Leave now, before I am forced to make you."[/b]
He was sure that this young girl would get a mental image of him, just by his voice.

"What do you want, young one? I have no need for another. Leave now, before I am forced to make you."
Resi did get a rather good mental image of the older were, but she narrowed her blind eyes as he spoke, her face scrunching up with irritation. "How am I supposed ta' leave if I'm tryin' ta' live around 'ere." She spoke with a confident, strong but rather smooth-toned voice, she felt no fear of the stronger were, though she knew very well he could probably tear her apart.
Shaking her head, she stepped a step forward and glared, her blind eyes just looked as if she could see him as well as any other with that angry expression sliding onto her face.

"How am I supposed ta' leave if I'm tryin' ta' live around 'ere."
The accent of the younger were startled Tibere. It was rough, not as innocent as he would expect of someone of her age. The way the girl held herself, no fear, no hesitation, a kind of genteelness which portrayed probably exactly what she wanted to be portrayed as. Her eyes flicked, nothing actually registering in their reflection, but Tibere noticed that this young one was doing a good job at appearing to be able to see.
Tibere just grunted in reply to the girl. He hadn't seen nor smelled her around here before, so he doubted what she said was the truth.
Brushing it off, he stared at her, his steel blue eyes drilling and cold.
"You haven't seen any humans around here, have you, young one?"[/b]
Tibere wasn't about to give his name out to someone he didn't know.Reaching towards his face, the dark were ran his roughened fingers of the scars that adorned his head. To long he had been forced to be pet and slave of the humans. Feeling the familiar itchy sensation above his nails, the dirty claws stretched slightly, in anticipation of the death of humans.

A replying grunt reached Resi's ears, and she crossed her arms in slight annoyance. She listened carefully, any movement he made she would defiantly hear. Sniffing a little at the hard, cold gaze she felt, she took a step closer, but withdrew it as soon as the older were spoke.
"You haven't seen any humans around here, have you, young one?"
Resi scrunched up her nose, "Well, I haven't seen any. I shur'leh haven't 'eard any." She replied and now started walking towards him, having gotten a clear 'view', thanks to his voice, she took the risk of standing right in front of him. "But I've been close nuff ta' 'ear humans na'ear d'eir villages." She turned her head a spat with annoyance when a bug landed on her lips.

"Well, I haven't seen any. I shur'leh haven't 'eard any."
Tibere breathed in a snarl. Damn. His eyes wandered distractedly as the girl wandered closer. She had confidence, and courage, the young one. Normally, one look at his scarred, hulking figure would send most lesser being running. Well, this girl couldn't see him. Mabye that was why.
"But I've been close nuff ta' 'ear humans na'ear d'eir villages."
Tibere's sullen scowl quickly reforemed itself as a cruel grin. That was probably the best news he had heard all day, mabye even all month. Crouching down so he was more equal to the young girl's height, Tibere spoke evenly, his voice deep and rusty.
"Do you think you could tell me what they speak about? Hunts, news, anything? In return, I will grant a wish of somesort of another, young one. My name is Tibere"[/b]

Resi stepped back as she heard his movement, but soon stepped forward again, leaning a bit closer, she closed her eyes half-way and listened to him as he spoke again.
"Do you think you could tell me what they speak about? Hunts, news, anything? In return, I will grant a wish of somesort of another, young one. My name is Tibere"
Resi frowned a little. "I haven't 'eard any 'hing 'bout huntin'..But dey do speak a lot 'bout tradin'.." she replied, her eyes opening, she straightend her back, and reaching out, placed a finger on his chin. "I'm sure dat cha' noticed by now, so all I can 'ay is, I can only 'onder what cha look like.." She wondered, her blind eyes straying from Tibere, as if she were trying to see around him.

"I haven't 'eard any 'hing 'bout huntin'..But dey do speak a lot 'bout tradin'.."
Tibere growled quietly. Not what he wanted to hear. He had no interest in what and where the humans were trading. Opening and closing his fists in angerment, Tibere could feel his hair bristling and his heart beggining to race. The sudden touch on his face startled Tibere, and he jumped slightly.
"I'm sure dat cha' noticed by now, so all I can 'ay is, I can only 'onder what cha look like.."
Tibere stood there, uncomfortable. he wasn't sure what he should do. Describe himself to her? Looking towards the blind girl, he replied almost sheepishly,
"I'm not sure what you mean by that."[/b]

Hearing and feeling him move, her lips moved to shape a smirk, she was sort of happy she startled the were. She reached out again, her finger touching his forehead this time. Her sight may have been gone, but she seemed to have learned to deal with it rather well, and over time, her other senses had come farther improved.
Her smirk stayed on her face, and she took her finger from his forehead and rubbing her chin. "Nothin' really, just wonderin' what cha look like..." She replied, slowly kneeling down before sitting, legs crossed and arms behind her. Almost automaticly, she just looked up at him. "Yur holdin' a strong grudge 'gainst the humans, huh?" She yawned deeply, then added, "Not that I can blame ya."
