‘Jas is definitely a sight to see – although not physically impressive his bright colours speak of a danger that most creatures would be smart to avoid. Like his animal counter part his fins are long and delicate. His scales are a pale cream striped with a dark warning red. This colouring continues across his fins and his tail.
Paler red stripes colour the left side of ‘Jas’ torso, shoulder and throat. It is on his left side that ‘Jas has lost his hand. Heavy scarring circles around his left wrist. His upper body has a slight golden tan from the tropical sunlight. ‘Jas’ hair is coarse and always stands on end due to the spines hidden there.
‘Jas’ eyes are completely black, much like fish eyes. When catching the light a slight maroon sheen can be seen. This colour is most noticeable above water.
Hidden within his slender fins are sharp, hollow spines which contain a mild poison. The most notable spines are found in the fines hidden through out his hair.

This Aycayía is an easy going kind of dude. ‘Jas spends most of his time floating around the top of the reef in the warmer waters. He is well known for staying almost exclusively in shallow reefs. Towards other Aycayía he is laid back and relaxed, secretly arrogant about his spines to keep him safe from any attacks.
‘Jas is a user of other species through and through – there’s a good chance that unless he wants something from someone he would never interact with them. Although not the kind of Aycayía that drags people into the depths for no reason he will stand up for himself. He sees Humans as a resource and often trades with them from the seashore.
